Loftie launching mouth tape reminds me of Eight Sleep announcing their own sleep supplement (https://www.eightsleep.com/blog/sleep-elixir-science/?srsltid=AfmBOoobn9eM2eVY96LIPicrbIRBzB6mviSWiHZ8Cg8Vgua0kaMGHLyM). I understand the strategy (trying to increase AOV) but the execution usually feels off to me. Why would I trust a technology company to formulate a best-in-class supplement? The mouth tape launch from Loftie is little more logical and believable, but why would someone buy this one instead of The Skinny Confidential? I'd like to see more brands bring in a partner for product line extensions (ie. Eight Sleep with Thorne) to drive more credibility in the eyes of the consumer.
